This is the "newspaper bag," a classic design first used by American newspaper carriers in the late 19th century for delivery, sales, and advertising. Originally, it featured a flap to protect the newspapers from the elements. When tucked inside, the flap revealed the name of the newspaper printed on the side, effectively advertising it.

DENIME has refreshed this iconic style, adapting it for modern use with a pull tab and a shoulder strap for versatile carrying. Additionally, the bag can be closed with a strap to keep the contents hidden. Made from Kurabo denim, the bag is assembled with a heavy, triple-stitched rolled seam, reflecting the craftsmanship of the factory that specializes in workwear sewing.
