Taking design cues from nature, the Kohler Alteo faucet incorporates sleek lines and curves that's right at home in a modern aesthetic. It has an organic shape with a high-arched spout that allows increased clearance below, providing more space for your bathroom. This two-handle centerset lavatory faucet is designed for 8- or 16-inch centers, and it's also available in a centerset version.

The Alteo faucet features Kohler's UltraGlide valve with Dry Stem technology, which simplifies installation and offers smooth operation as well as precise, effortless control over water temperature and flow. It also features a composite yoke valve platform that includes nylon supply hoses for simplified installation.
The Alteo's quarter-turn, washerless ceramic disc valves exceed industry longevity standards two times for a lifetime of durable performance. Its finish resists corrosion and tarnishing, and this version comes in polished chrome (with vibrant brushed nickel finish also available). It has a stationary spout with a 4-inch reach, and it has integrated supply hoses with 3/8-inch compression connections. This faucet meets WaterSense criteria to conserve water without sacrificing performance, and it is also ADA compliant.
WaterSense Labeled Faucet
WaterSense is a program sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote water efficiency (it is similar in nature to the EPA's Energy Star program). Plumbing fixtures and faucets that qualify for the WaterSense label assure you of actual water savings and strict performance standards.
The Alteo offers a flow rate of 1.5 gallons-per-minute (GPM), which is 30 percent less than the federal mandate of 2.2 GPM--making it eligible for the WaterSense label.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, this Kohler faucet is to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns his or her home. If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will mail to the purchaser, free of charge, the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
